After a defensive mix-up in Paragua SS's zone, Vicente Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Augusto Novaes came out of the goal and Vicente Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Vicente Rossi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Augusto Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Vicente Rossi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Augusto Novaes was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Vicente Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Carlos Augusto Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Vicente Rossi made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Paragua SS's Carlos Augusto Novaes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Augusto Novaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Almir Neves went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Paragua SS's Gernando Prado got a free kick in the 38th minute. Fiori Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Carlos Augusto Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Vicente Rossi notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Paragua SS's Carlos Augusto Novaes. Carlos Augusto Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fiori Matos to make the kick off. Carlos Augusto Novaes was a little too slow when Vicente Rossi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fiori Matos got free with Carlos Augusto Novaes in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Augusto Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Rossi in the 58th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FERRÃO's Jorginho Xavier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Augusto Novaes. That made the score 0-8 after 60 minutes of play. 66 minutes in the game, Vicente Rossi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carlos Augusto Novaes having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Novaes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fiori Matos in the 69th minute. Vicente Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, FERRÃO's Jorginho Xavier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Augusto Novaes. Carlos Augusto Novaes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Gernando Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Ramalho having to interfere. Cacá Valladares charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cacá Valladares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FERRÃO getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cacá Valladares hit a great ball. When Dino Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FERRÃO's protests and gave Dino Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. 77 minutes into the game, one of FERRÃO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vicente Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Augusto Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. With a little luck, Paragua SS's Carlos Augusto Novaes got control of the ball when Almir Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Paragua SS's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fiori Matos. Carlos Augusto Novaes was a little too slow when Jorginho Xavier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-10. Vicente Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Carlos Augusto Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Novaes made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Jorginho Xavier sent off a good shot on target. FERRÃO's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
