The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ulisses Xavier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Acácio Hermes's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Paulinho de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguinho Vergílio in the 4th minute of the match. After some careless play in the TRIPASECA defense, Dieguinho Vergílio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulinho de Mendonça. The TRIPASECA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulinho de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. Ulisses Xavier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolás Sanjurjo in the 8th minute. If Luiz Fábio Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, TRIPASECA's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique de Azevedo came free, but Paulinho de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, TRIPASECA's Elias Domingues dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. TRIPASECA's Paulinho de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Moura in the 18th minute of play. The corner ended in Dieguinho Vergílio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TRIPASECA's Paulinho de Mendonça did a great save. Geraldo Ramalho spun around in front of the goal 21 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of TRIPASECA's goal. In the 23rd minute, Clube Futebol Noob's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nicolás Sanjurjo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 24th match minute, TRIPASECA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of TRIPASECA booed when Clube Futebol Noob was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Clube Futebol Noob's goalkeeper Ulisses Xavier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Domingues. Nicolás Sanjurjo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ulisses Xavier firmly grabbed it by the left post. Paulinho de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Acácio Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ulisses Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses Xavier didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 48th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolás Sanjurjo was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Elias Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. TRIPASECA's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute Severino Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Clube Futebol Noob's Luiz Fábio Leal got a free kick in the 64th minute. Ulisses Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Sanjurjo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Dieguinho Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Nicolás Sanjurjo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the TRIPASECA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolás Sanjurjo couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Clube Futebol Noob's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Domingues came free, but Ulisses Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulisses Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Sanjurjo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to TRIPASECA getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Anísio Ramos hit a great ball. Ulisses Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Sanjurjo in the 84th minute of play. With his leg Paulinho de Mendonça managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Clube Futebol Noob's Dieguinho Vergílio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. TRIPASECA's Paulinho de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Moura in the 93rd minute of play. Almir Tinoco hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ulisses Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Hermes in the 98th minute of the match. TRIPASECA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
