Nico Rossi hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. A collision led to TRIPASECA getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Almir Tinoco hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolás Sanjurjo got free with Dênis de Souza in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolás Sanjurjo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nico Rossi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Paulinho de Mendonça when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Nicolás Sanjurjo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulinho de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, TRIPASECA's Paulinho de Mendonça got control of the ball when Carlos Proença tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 77 minutes TRIPASECA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arlindo Bastos who took care of the corner kick. In the 80th minute, Nico Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulinho de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Videira AD's Nico Rossi. But to his dismay, Nico Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Carlos Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Nicolás Sanjurjo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis de Souza having to interfere. Paulinho de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Bastos in the 96th minute of play. Videira AD played a much better game than TRIPASECA and deserved their victory. The TRIPASECA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
