Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Osvaldinho Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Haven FC and the PRATINHA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to New Haven FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Osvaldinho Couto hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Frédson de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilson Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, PRATINHA's Frédson de Moraes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilson Andrade. Nilson Andrade yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 20th minute Frédson de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that José Carlos de Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Couto was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 24 played minutes New Haven FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Souza. Nilson Andrade didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 42nd minute, José Carlos de Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Haven FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Cléber Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PRATINHA's protests and gave Cléber Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. José Carlos de Lima in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nestor Couto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. José Carlos de Lima who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Nestor Couto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maurício Silva took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Andrade. Nilson Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Almir Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Couto having to interfere. Nilson Andrade came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by PRATINHA's Maurício Silva. But to his dismay, Maurício Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The supporters of PRATINHA booed when New Haven FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Silva scored 6-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilson Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nilson Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Nilson Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Arce in the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, New Haven FC's Dênis Campidelis got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Válter Arce hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. PRATINHA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of New Haven FC for a fine match.
