Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademar da Fonseca in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorginho da Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ademar da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mostardeiro Grêmio getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Túlio Salgado hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mostardeiro Grêmio's zone, Armandinho Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorginho da Cunha came out of the goal and Armandinho Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademar da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho da Cunha having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Ademar da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inugami's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademar da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Veloso in the 35th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Ademar da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mostardeiro Grêmio's Jorginho da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from José Pedro da Cunha in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Inugami's Jorge Cavalcante. The attack was good, but when Ademar da Fonseca in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademar da Fonseca in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ademar da Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Ademar da Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Jorginho da Cunha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Ademar da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ademar da Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Jorginho da Cunha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that João Eger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Reis was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Inugami's Ademar da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorginho da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Eger took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Reis. Enrique Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ademar da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Jorginho da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inugami. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Eger in the 76th minute of play forced Inugami's goalkeeper Enrique Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Gustavo Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Valdomiro Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inugami's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mostardeiro Grêmio the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Eger in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Reis saved Inugami from getting behind. A collision led to Mostardeiro Grêmio getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ruy Neves hit a great ball. Dino Nunes's late challenge caught a Mostardeiro Grêmio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Eger in the 92nd minute of play forced Inugami's goalkeeper Enrique Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
