Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Jonas Cardozo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Medeiros in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Cosmos FC's Edu Medeiros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonas Cardozo. Jonas Cardozo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Edu Medeiros came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonas Cardozo could save by the left post. Matheus Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Donato Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bola Bola getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Matheus Figueiredo hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Cosmos FC's Miguel Travassos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edu Medeiros got free with Jonas Cardozo in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fred Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Cardozo having to interfere. Donato Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Jonas Cardozo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Edu Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Bola Bola's goalkeeper Jonas Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Medeiros. Jonas Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Barbosa in the 40th minute of the match. If Silas Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bola Bola defense, Miguel Travassos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Cardozo. The Bola Bola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Cardozo should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Edu Medeiros made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Cosmos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Barbosa. Miguel Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clóvis Moreira hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Ulisses Martins sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Cardozo skillfully saved the ball. After 73 played minutes Cosmos FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Coutinho. Ulisses Martins hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Silas Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bola Bola's Silas Donatello got a free kick in the 84th minute. Matheus Figueiredo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 89 minutes of play Cosmos FC's Jorginho Barbosa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Cosmos FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jorginho Barbosa hit a great ball. Jonas Cardozo came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos FC's Fred Toscano. But to his dismay, Fred Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cosmos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bola Bola had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
