If Octavio Carballo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valério Ortiz made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valério Ortiz in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bola Bola's Jonas Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Ortiz in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Valério Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Valério Ortiz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonas Cardozo, 0-11. The Bola Bola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Cardozo should have stopped the shot.
