Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Otávio Dionísio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcel Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Dito Cardozo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 12 minutes, Dito Cardozo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mirassol Esporte Clube's Marcel Maciel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Otávio Dionísio took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Maciel. Marcel Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Zé Paulo Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mirassol Esporte Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Braga was slow to take the kick. During this time Sanga funda's players had a chance to rest. In the 36thth minute of the game Otávio Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mirassol Esporte Clube's Marcel Maciel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Dito Cardozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mirassol Esporte Clube's Marcel Maciel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernst Heggert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Couto in the 39th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mirassol Esporte Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Frank Braga shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Dito Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Maciel having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Velloso was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Mirassol Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Novaes to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 55 in the game by Dito Cardozo from a close distance when the talented Marcel Maciel managed to make a qualified save. Mirassol Esporte Clube's players were relieved. A collision led to Sanga funda getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Frank Braga hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Pontes in the 72nd minute of play forced Mirassol Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Marcel Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Velloso struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ernst Heggert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirassol Esporte Clube. Zé Paulo Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Marcel Maciel made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Dito Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Frank Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Joel Leme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernst Heggert skillfully saved the ball. Marcel Maciel made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Dito Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. Otávio Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Maciel having to interfere. Sanga funda's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
