Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Velloso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Marcel Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardinho da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Serafina getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Luz hit a great ball. Giuseppe Moreira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Marcel Maciel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Giuseppe Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Maciel having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Serafina's Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça in the 15th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Marcel Maciel was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mirassol Esporte Clube through an amazing save. Marcel Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Mirassol Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho da Mata. After some careless play in the Mirassol Esporte Clube defense, Giuseppe Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Maciel. The Mirassol Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Maciel should have stopped the shot. When Joel Velloso came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Mirassol Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Velloso couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Mirassol Esporte Clube's Marcel Maciel got control of the ball when Giuseppe Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Meira during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Claudinei Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Serafina's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Velloso came free, but Horácio Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Ezequiel Paraense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mirassol Esporte Clube and the Serafina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Mirassol Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Paraense to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Nilmar Couto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mirassol Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

Horácio Sá made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilmar Couto in the 54th minute. Giuseppe Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Francisco Valadares hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcel Maciel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mirassol Esporte Clube's Nilmar Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Mirassol Esporte Clube's Joel Velloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 76th minute of the match, Joel Velloso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Horácio Sá saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Giuseppe Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giuseppe Moreira struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Marcel Maciel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serafina. 93 minutes into the match, Mirassol Esporte Clube's Nilmar Couto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horácio Sá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Joel Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mirassol Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horácio Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
