Danilo Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Amorim having to interfere. Consuelo's Amadeu Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto Meirelles in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Zé Augusto Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Castro in the 23rd minute of play forced Rondoniense SC's goalkeeper Virgilio Argomedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes, Zé Augusto Meirelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondoniense SC and the Consuelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rondoniense SC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Zé Augusto Meirelles hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Rondoniense SC's Nando Andrade got a free kick in the 27th minute. Luiz Paulo Castro took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Argomedo. Virgilio Argomedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Horácio de Alcântara's late challenge caught a Consuelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horácio de Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rondoniense SC's Horácio de Alcântara got a free kick in the 37th minute. The Rondoniense SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Consuelo were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Augusto Meirelles to strike the kick off in the second half. Zé Augusto Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Amadeu Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Consuelo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Walmir Montenegro hit a great ball. Nando Andrade took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Amorim. Amadeu Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 61st minute, Luiz Paulo Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Argomedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Bruninho Duarte with Lino Galvão as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Augusto Meirelles in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Amorim saved Consuelo from getting behind. Bruninho Duarte made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lino Galvão. In the 86th match minute, Rondoniense SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Rondoniense SC's Virgilio Argomedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Rondoniense SC from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Rondoniense SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Torres came free, but Virgilio Argomedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rondoniense SC's Nando Andrade got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 96 minutes of play, Rondoniense SC's Horácio de Alcântara made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Rondoniense SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Consuelo's performance. The match ended with a win for Consuelo.
