Delta FC's attentive Iuri Dantas managed to snatch the ball when Bell Rutherford made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. After 33 played minutes Delta FC got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Paulista. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Cristóvão Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valentes de Davi F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benê Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doriva Oliveira came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benê Aguiar could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Serafim Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valentes de Davi F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafim Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benê Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benê Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.
