The crowd rose to their feet as E.C Bahea's Duda Neiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luisinho Meireles. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. After 10 played minutes Boleiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Macedo. Boleiros FC's Luisinho Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Boleiros FC from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, one of E.C Bahea:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for E.C Bahea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Neiva in the 18th minute of play forced Boleiros FC's goalkeeper Luisinho Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. E.C Bahea's Jeremias Luz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pedrinho Paraense, made in the 20th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, E.C Bahea's Jeremias Luz got a free kick in the 21st minute. E.C Bahea's Jonas Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Pombal in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Agostinho Pombal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C Bahea's Jonas Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dinei Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Henrique Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. E.C Bahea's attentive Jeremias Luz managed to snatch the ball when Magno Domingues made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. Luisinho Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda Neiva in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Boleiros FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Agostinho Pombal hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Agostinho Pombal made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Macedo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Boleiros FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Henrique Macedo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duda Neiva in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisinho Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dráuzio Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedrinho Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Duda Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Meireles having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Boleiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Amorim. Boleiros FC made a substitution. Rogério Tinoco replaced Agostinho Pombal. Henrique Macedo got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eusébio Pimenta. E.C Bahea's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
