The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Falcão Negro Futebol Club. Marquinhos Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Itapissuma's Luís Fábio Alvarenga got a free kick in the 24th minute. Marquinhos Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Itapissuma's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Ferraz came free, but Marquinhos Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Danilo Xavier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marquinhos Mendonça. Itapissuma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Xavier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luizão Alvarenga was the one to do the kick off. Nilmar Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Marquinhos Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho Damião in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Richard Custódio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falcão Negro Futebol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Kauã de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Mendonça having to interfere. Marquinhos Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Custódio in the 84th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Richard Custódio in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Itapissuma's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
