Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fabiano Marques started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Sílvio Luís Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute, David Sarmento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jacuipense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Richard Ferraz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Humberto Corrêa came out and tried to block the shot, but Richard Ferraz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 8th minute. When Richard Custódio came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Falcão Negro Futebol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Custódio couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luís Prado hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match David Sarmento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Cosme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 17 played minutes Jacuipense got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto Messias. A collision led to Falcão Negro Futebol Club getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Danilo Xavier hit a great ball. Betão Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betão Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Betão Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Richard Custódio sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Richard Ferraz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Corrêa. Humberto Corrêa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Fabiano Marques scored 2-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Cosme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Ferraz to strike the kick off in the second half. The Jacuipense fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Jacuipense's Fabiano Marques looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Gil Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Cerezo in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Fabiano Marques lined in a short shot 2-6 behind a frustrated Gil Cosme. Humberto Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Xavier in the 68th minute of the match. Jacuipense's David Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Falcão Negro Futebol Club got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Xavier. Humberto Corrêa came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Danilo Xavier. But to his dismay, Danilo Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-6. After 82 played minutes Jacuipense got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Messias. Humberto Corrêa came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Richard Ferraz. But to his dismay, Richard Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-6. Humberto Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Custódio in the 94th minute of the match. Jacuipense's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
