Gomão EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divini Race F.C the free kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Furtado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Divini Race F.C were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
