An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Rodrigues in the 26th minute of play forced Jangada's goalkeeper Geovanni Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. João Pedro Branco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Geovanni Leão made a huge save. A collision led to Combate Fire getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ernesto Cardoso hit a great ball. João Pedro Branco took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanni Leão. Geovanni Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Jangada's goalkeeper Geovanni Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Rodrigues. In the 45thth minute of the game Eduardo Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jangada's Geovanni Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Jangada getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. When Eduardo Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Combate Fire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Eduardo Rodrigues notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Jangada's Geovanni Leão. Geovanni Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Combate Fire had played much better football throughout.
