Gil Cosme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Divini Race F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Custódio came free, but Waclaw Gejda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Divini Race F.C's Paulo José Rodrigues got a free kick in the 30th minute. Waclaw Gejda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Custódio in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Danilo Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Gil Cosme got control of the ball when Geraldo Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Fabinho Damião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falcão Negro Futebol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divini Race F.C the free kick. Fabinho Damião hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes, Danilo Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falcão Negro Futebol Club and the Divini Race F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 41 minutes, Paulo José Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Divini Race F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo José Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Custódio to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Divini Race F.C's Geraldo Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil Cosme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Geraldo Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Divini Race F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Geraldo Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Cosme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Fonseca in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Cosme saved Falcão Negro Futebol Club from getting behind. After 69 played minutes Divini Race F.C got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Lima. Gil Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Fonseca in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Geraldo Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Divini Race F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. A collision led to Falcão Negro Futebol Club getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sílvio Luís Prado hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes, Divini Race F.C's Geraldo Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gil Cosme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Divini Race F.C reached it. Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Gil Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Fonseca in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Fabinho Damião got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Geraldo Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Geraldo Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Gil Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Divini Race F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
