In the 6th minute, Fiori Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Cosme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th minute Fabinho Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Cosme having to interfere. Richard Ferraz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Falcão Negro Futebol Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Custódio got free with Claudinho Macedo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peladeiros FC's Claudinho Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Peladeiros FC from getting a goal against them. Claudinho Macedo was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Danilo Xavier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Danilo Xavier really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Fabinho Damião charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabinho Damião the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 30 minutes into the match, Peladeiros FC's Fiori Fernandes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Cosme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Peladeiros FC's Claudinho Macedo got control of the ball when Richard Custódio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute, Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Fabinho Damião ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudinho Macedo. Claudinho Macedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fiori Fernandes to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Richard Custódio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Claudinho Macedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peladeiros FC's Claudinho Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Ferraz in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Peladeiros FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Betinho Moura hit a great ball. Richard Ferraz scored 7-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinho Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Betinho Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. José Paulo Martins struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Claudinho Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falcão Negro Futebol Club. Claudinho Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Custódio in the 70th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Fabinho Damião was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Falcão Negro Futebol Club getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fabinho Damião hit a great ball. Claudinho Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Custódio in the 74th minute of the match. Claudinho Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Custódio in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Richard Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falcão Negro Futebol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. When Peladeiros FC's Fiori Fernandes in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Richard Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falcão Negro Futebol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Falcão Negro Futebol Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
