Diamantino Donatello charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Donatello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Anarcos E.C's Diamantino Donatello got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Luizão Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Anarcos E.C's goalkeeper Manoel Tobias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Marquinhos Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joélson Porto made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luizão Queiroz got free with Geovanni Leão in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Anarcos E.C's Mazinho Meireles got a free kick in the 59th minute. Vito Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Sydney Leme took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Geovanni Leão to make any attempt to save it. Marquinhos Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Manoel Tobias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Sena notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Anarcos E.C's Manoel Tobias. Manoel Tobias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jangada were victorious despite being under pressure from Anarcos E.C for much of the match.
