In a very dangerous position, a player in Combate Fire fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Rodrigues in the 64th minute of play forced Falcão Negro Futebol Club's goalkeeper Gil Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Richard Custódio made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Azeredo. Combate Fire's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. That made the score 2-6 after 86 minutes of play. When Cláudio Couto fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Combate Fire's protests and gave Cláudio Couto a yellow card for diving instead. Cláudio Couto hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Falcão Negro Futebol Club's Richard Ferraz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacinto Azeredo. Jacinto Azeredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. The Combate Fire fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Falcão Negro Futebol Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
