Manoel Tobias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapissuma. In the 38th minute, Hudson Perez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Itapissuma booed when Anarcos E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luizão Alvarenga made a kick off. Luizão Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Tobias having to interfere. Luizão Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hudson Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manoel Tobias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Marquinhos Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Sarmento in the 62nd minute of the match. Marquinhos Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Luizão Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th match minute, Itapissuma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão de Lima to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Itapissuma's zone, Heleno de Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Mendonça came out of the goal and Heleno de Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Luizão Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapissuma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizão Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Alvarenga in the 75th minute of play forced Anarcos E.C's goalkeeper Manoel Tobias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizão Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes, Edinho Alvarenga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itapissuma and the Anarcos E.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Itapissuma got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Alvarenga. Luizão Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Manoel Tobias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hudson Perez went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sydney Leme got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sydney Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Luizão Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Itapissuma were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Anarcos E.C to leave the ground with a draw.
