Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Richard Ferraz kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Falcão Negro Futebol Club's zone, Evaristo Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Cosme came out of the goal and Evaristo Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th match minute, Falcão Negro Futebol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar Peres to maneuver through the defense. When Medianeira's Evaristo Gaspar in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 11th minute Evaristo Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Haroldo Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Léo Lago came out of the goal and Richard Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Falcão Negro Futebol Club booed when Medianeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Léo Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Martins in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Medianeira getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Natã de Almeida hit a great ball. Medianeira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Richard Ferraz scored to the left of an out of position Léo Lago, making the score, 1-0. Elder Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Cosme having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, Medianeira's Evaristo Gaspar made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Cosme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haroldo Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gil Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Haroldo Alagoano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Cosme was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 43 minutes into the match, Medianeira's Haroldo Alagoano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Cosme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Elder Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Medianeira were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Gaspar to make the kick off. Léo Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Léo Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Custódio in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Medianeira's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Custódio came free, but Léo Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Falcão Negro Futebol Club booed when Medianeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vágner do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match, Haroldo Alagoano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gil Cosme was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 83rd minute, Richard Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Léo Lago was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Léo Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Custódio in the 89th minute of play. Haroldo Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Richard Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Evaristo Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Medianeira's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
