Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Claudinho Donato kicked off to start the match. After 7 minutes of play, Medianeira's Haroldo Alagoano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Murillo Marinho hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Sena in the 27th minute of play forced Medianeira's goalkeeper Léo Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léo Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Jangada were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Medianeira's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oscar Amaral took the corner. The corner ended in Oscar Amaral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Medianeira's Léo Lago did a great save. Léo Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marquinhos Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Lago having to interfere. Elder Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elder Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Medianeira got a freekick which was hit by Elder Figueiredo.

If Marquinhos Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léo Lago came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Jangada's Claudinho Donato. But to his dismay, Claudinho Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Murillo Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jangada's protests and gave Murillo Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Medianeira. Léo Nascimento stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Geovanni Leão. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Arósio during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonas Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Claudinho Donato might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Léo Lago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Donato ran back to his position shaking his head. Marquinhos Sena's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Léo Lago skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Léo Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Ferreira in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Elder Figueiredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovanni Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Medianeira's Léo Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Donato in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jangada's Ernani Meirelles got a free kick in the 85th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Evaristo Gaspar notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Jangada's Geovanni Leão. Geovanni Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Medianeira were the better team. Medianeira's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
