Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Anarcos E.C's Alberto Sarmento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Haroldo Alagoano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 9th minute Jonas Arósio suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 9 minutes into the game, Diamantino Donatello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anarcos E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medianeira the free kick. After a rather tough play, Anarcos E.C's Diamantino Donatello got a free kick in the 10th minute. Haroldo Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Manoel Tobias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 minutes of play, Medianeira's Elder Figueiredo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manoel Tobias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haroldo Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 24 in the game by Haroldo Alagoano from a close distance when the talented Manoel Tobias managed to make a qualified save. Anarcos E.C's players were relieved. Medianeira's Haroldo Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Alagoano got free with Manoel Tobias in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Medianeira getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alessandro Tasso hit a great ball. Haroldo Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Tobias having to interfere. After having played for 52 minutes, Natã de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medianeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natã de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Anarcos E.C's zone, Haroldo Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manoel Tobias came out of the goal and Haroldo Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manoel Tobias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Anarcos E.C's Diamantino Donatello got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Haroldo Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manoel Tobias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo Gaspar went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Luizão Queiroz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Léo Lago skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elder Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Manoel Tobias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Alagoano might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manoel Tobias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haroldo Alagoano ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Anarcos E.C's Mazinho Meireles got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 87 minutes of play, Medianeira's Haroldo Alagoano made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manoel Tobias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haroldo Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Tobias having to interfere. Manoel Tobias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Figueiredo in the 92nd minute of play. Manoel Tobias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Alagoano in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Medianeira were the better team. Medianeira's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
