Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Charqueada EC's Sílvio Luiz Motta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The coaching staff of Trocary protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luizão da Silveira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 28th minute of the match, Marcelinho Branco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rubens Neves was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Frank Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luiz Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Trocary's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Motta came free, but Frank Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Jano Matorin in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Trocary's Benedito Varela. In the 84th minute Marcelinho Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubens Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Lira in the 87th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Emílio Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
