In the 11th minute, Luiz Fernando Matorin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Válbson das Neves. The goal made the score 1-0. If Edu Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Trocary's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara came free, but Frank Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fernando Matorin struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Válbson das Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trocary. The Trocary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Sarmento should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute of the game Vicente Cearense made a throw-in which Aírton Capixaba played forward. Válbson das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Silva in the 35th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Haas's Kléberson de Toledo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Sarmento was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Frank Sarmento. Trocary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kléberson de Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes Haas got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson de Toledo. Válbson das Neves didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Trocary's Edu Silva shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Haas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3.
