Spectators: 7587 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) After a rather tough play, Ferraz's Flávio Capixaba got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Régis Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tião Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yan Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 minutes of play, Granja SC's Paulo Quirino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tião Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Granja SC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Granja SC's Yan Neto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chiquinho Berger came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elder de Barros could save by the left post. Tião Veloso came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Granja SC's Yan Neto. But to his dismay, Yan Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquinho Berger got free with Elder de Barros in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adilson Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, Granja SC's Elder de Barros got control of the ball when Chiquinho Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adilson Nascimento in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elder de Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Yan Neto made a precise shot to the right of Tião Veloso. Ferraz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Dário Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ferraz's Tião Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Neto in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes, Dagoberto Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granja SC and the Ferraz players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The wind increased when Adilson Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Quirino in the 61st minute of play forced Ferraz's goalkeeper Tião Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yan Neto took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tião Veloso. Tião Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Tião Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Quintal in the 66th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Rafael Antunes put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Granja SC booed when Ferraz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yan Neto got free with Tião Veloso in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Granja SC's Elder de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Nascimento in the 80th minute of play. Tião Veloso made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Yan Neto sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Chiquinho Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yan Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Tião Veloso made a huge save. Tião Veloso was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Régis Quintal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Régis Quintal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. With a little luck, Ferraz's Tião Veloso got control of the ball when Yan Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tião Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Granja SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ferraz throughout the match.
