The supporters of Biriricas booed when Jaraguary AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Biriricas were awarded a corner. Fabrício Vidal went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Biriricas's corner Fabrício Vidal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and José Maria Nunes quite easily take care of the ball. José Maria Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato de Almeida in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Nóbrega in the 41st minute of play forced Jaraguary AD's goalkeeper José Maria Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeferson Severo's late challenge caught a Biriricas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 57th match minute, Jaraguary AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Severo to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Claudinho Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Jaraguary AD's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Nóbrega came free, but José Maria Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Maria Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mário Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Donato de Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Maria Nunes having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato de Almeida in the 77th minute of play forced Jaraguary AD's goalkeeper José Maria Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato de Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Maria Nunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato de Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute Adelino Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Jaraguary AD got a freekick which was hit by Mário Novaes. Adelino Nóbrega took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Nunes. José Maria Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Adelino Nóbrega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Maria Nunes having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, Donato de Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Maria Nunes. Jaraguary AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato de Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Biriricas had played much better football throughout.
