Waldemar de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manfredo Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Kléberson de Toledo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Carnaubal's Waldemar de Medeiros. Waldemar de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute Sandrinho da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Haas getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Serafim de Carvalho hit a great ball. Sandrinho da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kléberson de Toledo had several of the Carnaubal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Waldemar de Medeiros as he didn't even see the shot coming. 74 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waldemar de Medeiros. Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 77 minutes into the match, Carnaubal's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson de Toledo came free, but Waldemar de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Carnaubal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kléberson de Toledo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Waldemar de Medeiros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manfredo Furlan during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Carnaubal getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Manfredo Furlan hit a great ball. If Sílvio Luiz de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson de Toledo in the 90th minute of play forced Carnaubal's goalkeeper Waldemar de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandrinho da Costa struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Válbson das Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carnaubal. After a rather tough play, Haas's Walmir de Azevedo got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the match was over Haas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carnaubal throughout the match.
