Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Rosado kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Hammonia getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Tadeu Abraão hit a great ball. Luís Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruninho Sarmento in the 8th minute. After 11 minutes of play, Hammonia's Kaká Paraibano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernani de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernani de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Kaká Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ernani de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Kaká Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, one of SC Arapuca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Bruninho Sarmento came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the SC Arapuca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho Sarmento couldn't finish the play. Luís Queirós came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Arapuca's Bruninho Sarmento. But to his dismay, Bruninho Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute Bruninho Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hammonia's Tadeu Abraão got a free kick in the 56th minute. Kaká Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute Kaká Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Arapuca's Bruninho Sarmento got a free kick in the 66th minute. Kaká Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Luís Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Sarmento in the 83rd minute of the match. Jardel Sarmento hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Kaká Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaká Paraibano in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernani de Moraes saved SC Arapuca from getting behind. Ernani de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Arapuca succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hammonia had controlled the match.
