After a rather tough play, ShiroDog's Valdir Pena got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Edu Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Diniz in the 19th minute of play. Frank Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Marcelinho Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trocary and the ShiroDog players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29th play minutes Edu Silva shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Anselmo Elodio and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 31st minute, Giuseppe Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36 minutes, Hermínio Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trocary and the ShiroDog players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ShiroDog booed when Trocary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Herminio Admon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Edu Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ShiroDog's Anselmo Elodio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiago Gabriel de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Frank Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When Benedito Varela came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Trocary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito Varela couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giuseppe Diniz to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Giuseppe Diniz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Frank Sarmento to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th match minute, Trocary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elano Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ShiroDog getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Adhemar Ortiz hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Giuseppe Diniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Sarmento was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute, Edu Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Gabriel de Amaral during the 72nd minute. In the 84th minute, Giuseppe Diniz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frank Sarmento. The goal made the score 1-4. During the 88th minute of the match Marcelinho Branco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcelinho Branco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of ShiroDog booed when Trocary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, ShiroDog's Giuseppe Diniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The ShiroDog supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ShiroDog would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
