After a rather tough play, Albano's Ademar Arce got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Patrick Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlos Augusto de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo do Valle hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. With his leg Diego Braga managed to avoid a goal in the 49thth minute, when Flamengo UK's Henrique Pontes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrique Pontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Fabrício Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamengo UK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albano the free kick. Fabrício Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Flamengo UK's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto de Barros came free, but Wolf-Rüdiger Honda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolf-Rüdiger Honda was a little too slow when Carlos Augusto de Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-2. Flamengo UK's Wolf-Rüdiger Honda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo UK from getting a goal against them. Henrique Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Braga having to interfere. Diego Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Albano getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Rogério Carneiro hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Henrique Pontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo UK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Vágner Fernandez came free in the 83rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Wolf-Rüdiger Honda, but to the joy of Flamengo UK's supporters the ball went over. Patrick Paraense made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nestor Antunes. Wolf-Rüdiger Honda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th match minute, Albano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Carvalho to maneuver through the defense.
