When Nicodim Udrescu fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Clube Talismã's protests and gave Nicodim Udrescu a yellow card for diving instead. Selemengo's Gualter da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Selemengo from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Selemengo's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Udrescu came free, but Gualter da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bengt Möller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gualter da Cunha. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. A hard shot 21 in the game by Nicodim Udrescu from a close distance when the talented Gualter da Cunha managed to make a qualified save. Selemengo's players were relieved. Gualter da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Nunes in the 22nd minute of the match. When Celsinho Melo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selemengo's protests and gave Celsinho Melo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Selemengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Melo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicodim Udrescu in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualter da Cunha saved Selemengo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Nunes in the 35th minute of play forced Selemengo's goalkeeper Gualter da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualter da Cunha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adrianinho Domingues showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. Nicodim Udrescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Gualter da Cunha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diguinho do Vale made a kick off. Atlético Clube Talismã's Nicodim Udrescu managed to work through Selemengo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Nicodim Udrescu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicodim Udrescu in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualter da Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Nunes scored 6-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualter da Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tostão Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Gualter da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Nunes in the 63rd minute of the match. Paulo Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Adriano Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Paulo Nunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualter da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Selemengo's Gualter da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Nunes in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Selemengo's goal looked a bit too open when Iurie Dinulescu came free, but Gualter da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Atlético Clube Talismã's Adrianinho Domingues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualter da Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. In the 97th minute, Iurie Dinulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Clube Talismã fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Clube Talismã players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
