After a rather tough play, ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's Gugu Urbano got a free kick in the 5th minute. The ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's Percival Arce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Taguai FC's Norberto Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Arce in the 14th minute of play. Percival Arce might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Quintal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Percival Arce ran back to his position shaking his head. Gonçalo Botelho's late challenge caught a ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Taguai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Giovani Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Percival Arce made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Quintal. Taguai FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When José Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taguai FC's protests and gave José Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Taguai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Nunes to maneuver through the defense. If Percival Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes, ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's Gugu Urbano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norberto Quintal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร reached it. If Giovani Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Taguai FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Percival Arce to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Arce in the 54th minute of play forced Taguai FC's goalkeeper Norberto Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Nunes in the 66th minute of play forced ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's goalkeeper Samuca de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gonçalo Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percival Arce in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Quintal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Lauro Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Gugu Urbano in the 79th minute really tested Norberto Quintal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Percival Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Quintal was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Norberto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Salles in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Percival Arce in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Quintal saved Taguai FC from getting behind. Norberto Quintal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Percival Arce's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The supporters of Taguai FC booed when ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidnei Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percival Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Norberto Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
