The referee felt a red card was in order, 6 minutes into the game, when Lino Quirce put in a rough tackle. In the 13th minute, Gualter Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes Seca Litros got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Munhoz. After 19 played minutes Seca Litros got a freekick which was hit by Richard Schmidt. A collision led to Seca Litros getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gualter Pinheiro hit a great ball. José Carlos Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Erasmo de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Schmidt's late challenge caught a Barão do Triunfo F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Schmidt helped the player get up and apologised. Richard Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Erasmo de Senna didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Barão do Triunfo F.C.'s José Carlos Paiva shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Erasmo de Senna came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Barão do Triunfo F.C.'s José Carlos Paiva. But to his dismay, José Carlos Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 44 minutes into the match, Seca Litros's goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Paiva came free, but Erasmo de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Schmidt to make the kick off. Eusebiu Stelea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Munhoz in the 52nd minute of the match. Frédson Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Paiva in the 60th minute of play forced Seca Litros's goalkeeper Erasmo de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, one of Seca Litros:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Seca Litros. After having played for 66 minutes, Demetrio Romino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barão do Triunfo F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Demetrio Romino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Stelea having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Barão do Triunfo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Pinheiro came free, but Eusebiu Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Arce in the 76th minute of play forced Barão do Triunfo F.C.'s goalkeeper Eusebiu Stelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Seca Litros's Frédson Arce made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebiu Stelea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Seca Litros's Erasmo de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Seca Litros from getting a goal against them. Erasmo de Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Carlos Paiva's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Jorge Vasconcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Vasconcelos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barão do Triunfo F.C. booed when Seca Litros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Barão do Triunfo F.C. defense, Richard Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusebiu Stelea. The Barão do Triunfo F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusebiu Stelea should have stopped the shot. Frédson Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Stelea having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Demetrio Romino could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Erasmo de Senna however easily saved by the left post. The Seca Litros supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barão do Triunfo F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Barão do Triunfo F.C..
