Hugo Teixeira started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร defense, Hugo Teixeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuca de Carvalho. The ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuca de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Seca Litros booed when ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuca de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Teixeira in the 14th minute of the match. Seca Litros's Erasmo de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Seca Litros from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's Gugu Urbano got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's goalkeeper Samuca de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's zone, Luís Fabiano Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuca de Carvalho came out of the goal and Luís Fabiano Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fabiano Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Samuca de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Pinheiro in the 41st minute of play forced ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's goalkeeper Samuca de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Percival Arce came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percival Arce couldn't finish the play. Samuca de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Seca Litros's Tomás Munhoz. But to his dismay, Tomás Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.

The wind increased when Percival Arce made the kick off in the second half. Seca Litros's Erasmo de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Arce in the 55th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuca de Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sidnei Viana hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Arce came free, but Samuca de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Samuca de Carvalho made a huge save. In the 72nd minute of the match, Hugo Teixeira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Samuca de Carvalho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hugo Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Samuca de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Teixeira in the 92nd minute of play forced ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's goalkeeper Samuca de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Seca Litros got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Teixeira. Marcus de Mendonça made in the 97th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Seca Litros's Fernando Paraibano. Seca Litros's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
