A sloppy throw-in by Zé Augusto Paes in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Barão do Triunfo F.C.'s Lino Quirce. If Lino Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Carlos Paiva in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Simões saved block monster sc from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Hílton Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Stelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, block monster sc's Mário Vargas got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Carlos Paiva in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Simões saved block monster sc from getting behind. Demetrio Romino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Simões having to interfere. Leonardo Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Carlos Paiva in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 47 played minutes block monster sc got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Abraão.

Barão do Triunfo F.C.'s Eusebiu Stelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Nunes in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Romino got free with Leonardo Simões in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Barão do Triunfo F.C. booed when block monster sc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in block monster sc's zone, José Carlos Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Simões came out of the goal and José Carlos Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 minutes of play, Barão do Triunfo F.C.'s José Carlos Paiva made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barão do Triunfo F.C.'s Demetrio Romino got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ramón Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, José Carlos Paiva lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Leonardo Simões. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 1-3 when José Carlos Paiva sped through block monster sc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonardo Simões. A collision led to block monster sc getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cleiton Zanette hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Barão do Triunfo F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than block monster sc.
