Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Giovani Cardozo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Richard Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe de Lara having to interfere. In the 5th minute, one of TRICOLOR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TRICOLOR. Frédson Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe de Lara having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in TRICOLOR's zone, Richard Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe de Lara came out of the goal and Richard Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe de Lara having to interfere. Filipe de Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Pedro Paulo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo de Senna having to interfere. If Richard Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Seca Litros booed when TRICOLOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Jorge Vasconcelos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filipe de Lara. Jorge Vasconcelos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Filipe de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Arce in the 40th minute of play. Seca Litros were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after TRICOLOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulão Santana took the corner. After taking down the ball on Seca Litros's corner Paulão Santana fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Filipe de Lara quite easily take care of the ball. Seca Litros's Frédson Arce was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 43rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Frédson Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Seca Litros's Jorge Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Casemiro Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Richard Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frédson Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Filipe de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Gualter Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TRICOLOR's Filipe de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Pinheiro in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Jorge Vasconcelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seca Litros and the TRICOLOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Seca Litros got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Vasconcelos. Erasmo de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Proença in the 78th minute of play. Seca Litros's Jorge Vasconcelos got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Jorge Vasconcelos off the ground. Jorge Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, TRICOLOR's Pedro Paulo Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo de Senna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Luís Fabiano Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seca Litros's protests and gave Luís Fabiano Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. Erasmo de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Proença in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, TRICOLOR's Casemiro Neves got a free kick in the 84th minute. Richard Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Filipe de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Marcel Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TRICOLOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seca Litros the free kick. Seca Litros's Zézinho Bastos was substituted for Luís Fabiano Rodrigues. In the 89th match minute, TRICOLOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Salgado to maneuver through the defense. If Richard Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Richard Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seca Litros's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seca Litros's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
