Dorival Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Lino Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Bittencourt having to interfere. Eldorado FC's Pedro Augusto Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelsinho Munhoz charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nelsinho Munhoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Eldorado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Munhoz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Apiacás Esporte Clube's William Cardozo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enio Quirino. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Eldorado FC defense, José Pedro Nóbrega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enio Quirino. The Eldorado FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enio Quirino should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, José Pedro Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Michel Cardozo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Apiacás Esporte Clube's Serginho Bittencourt didn't even have to move. After 41 played minutes Apiacás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Nóbrega. When Nelsinho Munhoz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Eldorado FC's Nelsinho Munhoz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Eldorado FC's attentive Lino Queirós managed to snatch the ball when Arí Amaral made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. Paulo José Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Serginho Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Enio Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 67 played minutes Eldorado FC got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Sena. Enio Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enio Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Domingues went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Enio Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Enio Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Eldorado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Peres came free, but Enio Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, William Cardozo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apiacás Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Reynaldo Domingues scored 9-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enio Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Apiacás Esporte Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eldorado FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
