Celso Amaral's late challenge caught a Olympiada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dalponte FC's Celso Amaral got a free kick in the 4th minute. Alfredo Berger took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zézinho Teixeira. Zézinho Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With his leg César Marques managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Dalponte FC's Joel Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Joel Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vágner Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vágner Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zézinho Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zézinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Hermes in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Silvério Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Hermes in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zézinho Teixeira saved Dalponte FC from getting behind. Vágner Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Emanuel Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Hermes in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dalponte FC's goalkeeper Zézinho Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute Alfredo Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Hermes in the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Dalponte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Berger came free, but Zézinho Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Berger made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Dalponte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Lago to maneuver through the defense. Zézinho Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Berger's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Vítor Vale recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zézinho Teixeira. Vítor Vale showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. João Carlos Coutinho hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Olympiada FC's Emanuel Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. César Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zézinho Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olympiada FC made a substitution. Hermínio Secco replaced Emanuel Hermes. With an all-out effort, Olympiada FC's Zézinho Teixeira threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfredo Berger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermínio Secco got free with Zézinho Teixeira in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Dalponte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Vale came free, but Zézinho Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Hermínio Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalponte FC's Zézinho Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Dalponte FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Vítor Vale took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Zézinho Teixeira to make any attempt to save it. Olympiada FC played a much better game than Dalponte FC and deserved their victory. The Dalponte FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
