Spectators: 6825 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a little luck, Olympiada FC's César Marques got control of the ball when Yuri Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdir Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Vale in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Vale in the 19th minute of play forced Ondina SS's goalkeeper Valdir Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, João Carlos Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robinho Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Yuri Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdir Campidelis came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympiada FC's Emanuel Hermes. But to his dismay, Emanuel Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 31 played minutes Ondina SS got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Aparecido. Nildo Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute João Carlos Custódio suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 38th minute, Leonardo da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdir Campidelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Berger went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Leonardo da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ondina SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdir Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Berger made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ondina SS's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Vale came free, but Valdir Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. César Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Lara in the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ondina SS defense, Alfredo Berger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdir Campidelis. The Ondina SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdir Campidelis should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Vítor Vale reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valdir Campidelis. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 69th minute Vítor Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Valdir Campidelis made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vágner Faria got free with Valdir Campidelis in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Hermes got free with Valdir Campidelis in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermínio Secco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Valdir Campidelis made a huge save. Valdir Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Vale in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Velloso in the 86th minute of play forced Ondina SS's goalkeeper Valdir Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Valdir Campidelis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. César Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Otávio Arruda fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ondina SS's protests and gave Otávio Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olympiada FC booed when Ondina SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hermínio Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Olympiada FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ondina SS throughout the match.
