After having played for 4 minutes, Edmond Soucy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tactics FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmond Soucy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Hélio Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Ödmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, SC Conapool's goal looked a bit too open when Edmond Soucy came free, but Luiz Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Hoffmann made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Douglas Lago sent off a good shot on target. Ramiro Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvaldo Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, SC Conapool's Juvenal Hoffmann tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Alfons Ödmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. SC Conapool's Rui da Rocha was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some careless play in the SC Conapool defense, Edmond Soucy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Motta. The SC Conapool fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Motta should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Sebastião Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Conapool's Luiz Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson Furtado in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Genílson Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Luiz Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmond Soucy to make the kick off. After some careless play in the SC Conapool defense, Edmond Soucy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Motta. The SC Conapool fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Motta should have stopped the shot. In the 74th match minute, Tactics FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Araújo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Tactics FF getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Carlos Udalaitz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Lago in the 78th minute of play forced Tactics FF's goalkeeper Narciso Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmond Soucy in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Motta saved SC Conapool from getting behind. Luiz Motta was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Edmond Soucy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmond Soucy really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. 86 minutes into the match, Edmond Soucy notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of SC Conapool's Luiz Motta. Luiz Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Tactics FF getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Genílson Furtado hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Tactics FF's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Mandrak came free, but Narciso Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmond Soucy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Luiz Motta made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Narciso Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmond Soucy spun around in front of the goal 93 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Luiz Motta grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. In the 94thth minute of the game Edmond Soucy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Conapool's Luiz Motta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 98th minute, Douglas Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Conapool fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7.
