Valdir Campidelis came out of the goal and Paulo José Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo da Rocha in the 24th minute of play forced Eldorado FC's goalkeeper Enio Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Freire in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdir Campidelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eldorado FC's Narciso Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ondina SS booed when Eldorado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinícius Gerber got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cipriano Alcântara. In the 37th match minute, Ondina SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Meirelles to maneuver through the defense.
