The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nelsinho Almeida was the one to do the kick off. Valdir Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Domingues's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Ondina SS's Robinho Soares got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Domingues in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Campidelis saved Ondina SS from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ondina SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Valdir Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Valério Cosme fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apiacás Esporte Clube's protests and gave Valério Cosme a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Apiacás Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Valério Cosme hit a great ball. If Reynaldo Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Cosme hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelsinho Almeida in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serginho Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nelsinho Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Campidelis having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ondina SS's Ronaldinho Aparecido got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Apiacás Esporte Clube's Serginho Bittencourt got control of the ball when Yuri Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ondina SS's zone, Nelsinho Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Campidelis came out of the goal and Nelsinho Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yuri Lara's late challenge caught a Apiacás Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yuri Lara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 101st match minute, Ondina SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Lara to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Apiacás Esporte Clube were the better team. Apiacás Esporte Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
