After some careless play in the Dalponte FC defense, Arnaldo Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zézinho Teixeira. The Dalponte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zézinho Teixeira should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 13 in the game by Arnaldo Fantini from a close distance when the talented Zézinho Teixeira managed to make a qualified save. Dalponte FC's players were relieved. Zézinho Teixeira was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Arnaldo Fantini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnaldo Fantini really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 17th match minute, Paneleros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jean de Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natanael Silva was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Zézinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Fantini in the 23rd minute of play. Zézinho Teixeira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnaldo Fantini showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 34th minute, Jean de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Paneleros FC's Arnaldo Fantini got a free kick in the 41st minute. Natanael Silva came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Dalponte FC's Jean de Amorim. But to his dismay, Jean de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean de Amorim was the one to do the kick off. Zézinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Fantini in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, Dalponte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Falcão to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zézinho Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo José Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Zézinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Fantini in the 56th minute of play. Zézinho Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo José Hermes went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Fantini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zézinho Teixeira. Dalponte FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Fantini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 62 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Fantini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Zézinho Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dalponte FC's Zézinho Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Fantini in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Paneleros FC booed when Dalponte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes of play, Paneleros FC's Arnaldo Fantini made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zézinho Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Dalponte FC's Jean de Amorim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natanael Silva. That made the score 8-2 after 73 minutes of play. Joel Velasco hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 78 minutes, Ernesto Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paneleros FC and the Dalponte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Paneleros FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Neves. Zézinho Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Delfim Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paneleros FC's protests and gave Delfim Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. Jean de Amorim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Natanael Silva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jean de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zézinho Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José Hermes in the 93rd minute of the match. Hudson das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Teixeira having to interfere. Paneleros FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
