The referee ignored Internacional Aru's protests and gave Artur Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. Internacional Aru's Baltazar Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Berger in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Alfredo Berger made a precise shot to the right of Baltazar Brasil. Internacional Aru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Beto Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. César Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Beto Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Cafu Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Váldson Munhoz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After a rather tough play, Olympiada FC's Luiz Guilherme Velloso got a free kick in the 42nd minute. César Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cauan Figueiredo in the 43rd minute. Cauan Figueiredo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised César Marques. César Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.

The wind increased when Cauan Figueiredo made the kick off in the second half. César Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Figueiredo in the 55th minute of the match. When Olympiada FC's Alfredo Berger in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hermínio Secco replaced Emanuel Hermes. 77 minutes into the match, Internacional Aru's Franklin Cerezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Internacional Aru's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfredo Berger fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Baltazar Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Alfredo Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermínio Secco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltazar Brasil having to make a save. If Hermínio Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Olympiada FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Internacional Aru.
