A collision led to Apiacás Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lino de Queiroz hit a great ball. Jean de Amorims short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Serginho Bittencourt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Dalponte FC booed when Apiacás Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zézinho Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Reynaldo Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Apiacás Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Domingues couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, William Cardozo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apiacás Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Reynaldo Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Teixeira having to interfere. Zézinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Peres in the 31st minute of play. If Jean de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Dalponte FC got a freekick which was hit by Jean de Amorim. Zézinho Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renan Guimarães during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Nelsinho Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apiacás Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zézinho Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Zézinho Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean de Amorim in the 82nd minute of play forced Apiacás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Serginho Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Domingues who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Zézinho Teixeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zézinho Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Cardozo in the 87th minute of play forced Dalponte FC's goalkeeper Zézinho Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apiacás Esporte Clube's Nelsinho Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Dalponte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Peres came free, but Zézinho Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Jean de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalponte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Apiacás Esporte Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dalponte FC.
