Arnaldo Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Motta having to interfere. Luiz Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Fantini in the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Fantini in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Motta saved SC Conapool from getting behind. After 42 played minutes SC Conapool got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Hoffmann. A collision led to Paneleros FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Edvaldo Carvalho hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Fantini was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Sebastião Mandrak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natanael Silva. Paneleros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastião Mandrak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Arnaldo Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Douglas Lago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natanael Silva was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Natanael Silva came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Conapool's Douglas Lago. But to his dismay, Douglas Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Natanael Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Mandrak in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Fantini in the 88th minute of play forced SC Conapool's goalkeeper Luiz Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Válter Torres fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Lago couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paneleros FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Conapool.
