Serginho Bittencourt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnaldo Fantini showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Nelsinho Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nelsinho Peres to make the kick off. After 53 minutes Paneleros FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reynaldo Domingues who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Apiacás Esporte Clube's corner Reynaldo Domingues fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Natanael Silva quite easily take care of the ball. Serginho Bittencourt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Fantini went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Paneleros FC's zone, Nelsinho Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natanael Silva came out of the goal and Nelsinho Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Arnaldo Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nelsinho Peres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Natanael Silva. That made the score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. Arnaldo Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Bittencourt having to interfere. Though ot was a great shot Paneleros FC's keeper Natanael Silva was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 81st match minute, Paneleros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Paneleros FC's Ernesto Neves got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Arnaldo Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
