A beautiful save bye SC Conapool's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute, Pong Kula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Letal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 12th minute Pong Kula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pong Kula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Motta having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, SC Conapool's goal looked a bit too open when Pong Kula came free, but Luiz Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Pong Kula notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SC Conapool's Luiz Motta. Luiz Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Pong Kula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Pong Kula cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Luiz Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, SC Conapool's André Luís Vaz got a free kick in the 25th minute. Pong Kula took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Motta. Luiz Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui da Rocha in the 29th minute of play forced Atlético Letal's goalkeeper Abelardo Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Aírton Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pong Kula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. André Luís Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Pong Kula notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of SC Conapool's Luiz Motta. Luiz Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luiz Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Pong Kula might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Motta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pong Kula ran back to his position shaking his head. Pong Kula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luiz Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastião Mandrak was the one to do the kick off. Rodrigo Vides hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Pong Kula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Luiz Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pong Kula's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. A collision led to Atlético Letal getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Anderson Palmeira hit a great ball. After 66 minutes of play, Atlético Letal's Tomás Goren made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the game, Tomás Goren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Motta. Tomás Goren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. In the 71st match minute, SC Conapool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Brodel to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Atlético Letal were awarded a corner. Dursun Ali Mehmet went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Alfredinho Sena managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Atlético Letal booed when SC Conapool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Atlético Letal's Tomás Goren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. After a rather tough play, Atlético Letal's Rodrigo Vides got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Luiz Motta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Goren went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Abelardo Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Lago in the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Atlético Letal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Conapool.
